Bodega Comenge
Carmen holds all the beauty, wisdom, authenticity, resistance, and kind character of a mature vine, like all great women. It is a tribute to the previous generations of winemakers who looked after their vineyards as if they were treasures so that we can continue enjoying their wines today. In the past, the vineyards of the Ribera del Duero were a balance of white and red varieties harvested together, giving rise to the characteristic local wine: a delicious clarete. Carmen is the desire to rescue this wonderful tradition and recover the history of our region and the interest in making our wines using the Albillo variety, the white grape of the Ribera del Duero region.

Tasting Notes
Pale red with steel tones, very bright. It has an intense nose that shows a lot of sensations: ripe black fruits, wild blackberries, violets, white flowers, lavender and a mineral sensation that reminds us of talcum powder. In the mouth it has excellent acidity and is pleasantly fresh and fragrant, with a light body and a pleasant feeling of oiliness, it demonstrates exquisite maturity and a delicate texture in the mouth. Pairing: light rice dishes, pasta with white sauces, sushi, boiled seafood, carpaccio and smoked meat, soft cheeses and chocolate desserts.
