The legacy of our winery sits among a sea of vineyards in the small town of Baños de Ebro, in the Rioja Alavesa. Rooted in hundred-year-old vines that were planted by our grandparents at the beginning of the 20th century. From vine growers, our parents also went on to produce “vino de cosechero”, and from there, with a desire to innovate, we three brothers have been handed the baton with the creation of a new wine.Creativity and innovation In 1999 we built the current winery, which allowed us to develop our passion for wine by also producing New wines, Crianza, Private Selection, 7 Varietales, Graciano and White wines. All of these created in a very selective fashion, limiting production to grapes harvested on our 50 acres of vineyards. Of these grapes 80% is Tempranillo, 10% Viura, 5% Graciano and the remaining 5% is shared among varieties such as Mazuelo, Grenache and Malvasia. The wines that are destined for ageing, rest and mature in Bordeaux barrels of which 50% are American oak and 50% French oak.The commitment that drives our daily work is that of continuous improvement. The wines we produce today are now better and more creative than those of yesterday, but no doubt those that see the light to morrow will have the bar placed even higher.
