Forlong La Fleur | Forlong

Bodega de Forlong is a creation of two young entrepreneurs, in love with wine. They created Forlong, a little winery dedicated to the production of high-quality wines, made in a total artisan way, so called “auteur wines”. They focus on the quality of the grapes instead of the quantity. Forlong is an organic wine on the vine and in the creation process. Also, the vineyard receives biodynamic care including the use of an astrological sowing and planting calendar which helps to achieve a perfect function of the plants and a high quality in the grapes. We focus on the primary aromas therefore preserving the terroir. Forrlong’s terroir is the “albariza” a limestone-based soil. We believe that the fruits of our labor should be something shared with others so that those persons can take part in our joy, our pride, and our sense of achievement through the pleasure of our wines.

Tasting Notes

We can observe an amber-yellow color with some turbidity due to it having been bottled in an unfiltered state. Intense, with hints of almond, pastry, and glazed fruit. It has a complex aroma, accompanied by an iodized smell which cries out – “the sea is nearby!” Incisive, with very good acidity which leads the wine towards the center of the mouth, uniting verticality and tension. One´s taste buds are fully awakened, and the aromatic explosion moves us by perfectly revealing the sensation of this wine’s terroir.
